ProPark manages the parking lot at my place of my employment. I was so relieved to have purchased a discounted pass good for one quarter, otherwise it would've cost me $5/day (it's first come, first served). Yikes! Anyway, I "lost" my pass just a week after purchase. Gah! And I think what happened was the hotel valet pulled it by mistake when we were at the Hilton Waikiki for the day.

It just so happen that I took a photo of my pass when I initially purchased it (yup, I take photos of just about everything). So, I was hoping if I just printed it out and hung it up, it would be A-OK! But, I called ProPark and they said "no." It's because the original pass could potentially be found and then used by someone else. I also didn't want to risk my vehicle being towed for a phony looking pass. So, I made the drive to ProPark HQ (about 20 mins from my office) and forked out $25 for the replacement pass. They were nice over the phone and in person. You bet I'll be keeping my eye on this pass every time I use valet service!

No reason to knock off any stars, especially with this being their 1st review!!

    UPDATE: 04/11/19

I don't think that PROPARK INC. reads their reviews. The "Evening Special" rate is still posted.

Tonight, 04/09/19, we parked in the stalls adjacent to Pagoda Hotel. At 7:17 pm purchased Evening Special, 1  2 hr ticket because we would be leaving before 2 am, so ticket showed 9:17 pm as expiration time (2 hours). We were leaving the hotel at 9:52 pm and I noticed a paper on my windshield. Low and behold we were cited for 2 violations. 1st expired permit and 2nd obstructing traffic. First off, the car was clearly in a stall, how is traffic being obstructed, are they serious.  Well, my father and I go to the parking attendant, at Ross Stores and ask why we were cited when the ticket clearly shows that we paid for 2 hours, after 5 pm and before 11:59 pm. First, the attendant said we needed to purchase TWO 2 hour tickets. I explained and showed her the sign that clearly states ONE 2 hour ticket was need until 2 am. Then, Willie, the one that wrote the citation came and told us that the Evening Special does not belong to PROPARK. Then, continued to rudely tell us to show him where on the sign does it say "Propark". Explained to him that the sign is attached to their parking rates. He again, very rudely and strongly demanding that I show him. His exact words "SHOW ME, SHOW ME WHERE IT SAYS PROPARK? That's not our sign we not responsible for those rate." I asked him, "Then, who would be?" The parking attendant, I believe her name is Faapoulu, said we HAVE to prove that it's their sign and that it says PROPARK. Seriously, what did they think I just put that sign up myself to get special parking. My father stayed behind to question the obstructing traffic citation. I walked back to Pagoda to take the 2nd picture showing them that it's overlapping, on top of PROPARK's parking rates. When I showed Willie that the sign is clearly attached to PROPARK's rate sign, ON TOP, NOT behind or above. He had me ZOOM in so he can clearly see PROPARK. I informed him that they MUST honor the special rate because it clearly sits on top of their rates. He askes very rudely and sharp, "Where's the ticket?" I showed it to him. He snatched it out of my hand and said "GO" and waved his hand, like shooing us away. My father started to said "Willie, thank you we just want ..." Willie made the shooing motion, AGAIN, and said, "JUST GO. STOP HARASSING US." I tried to thank him but again was shooed and told "JUST GO. STOP HARASSING US." Seriously, I don't know if he was having a bad night, or whatever, but we were wrongly cited, wanted it resolved CORRECTLY and justly. I do not understand why the were insisting that we we harassing them. Yes, voices were raised. When someone starts to raise their voice to you, you will do so in return. Willie and Faapoulu didn't want to hear what we had to say. They believed us to be in the wrong and they were justified. When CLEARLY, they were not. The signage photo speaks for it's self.

We visit many medical referals at Pagoda. One thing is for certain, we WILL NEVER use PROPARK INC. again. I will drive in circles and walk blocks to find parking before I EVER use them again, EVER!! I will be mosting this to ALL social media!!

Also, the sign needs to be REMOVED, if they are not going to honor the rate or employees claim that it's not PROPARK INC.'s sign. I wonder how many people have been cited for expired permit, at the Pagoda Hotel.

I don't mind paying for parking. I do mind getting a ticket for paid for parking.

Don't park in places that use these scammers.

This review is for the Dillingham location. While shopping and then taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese, I got a ticket for staying over 3 hours. Seriously?

    RUDE!

This review is for the Polynesian/Hawaiian female employee working at the Pagoda/Ross parking garage on July 24,2018 at ~12:39PM.

As I pull up to the ticket machine and am about to press the button, the woman at the booth motions for me to "move forward," possibly implying that the ticket machine is broken (which is quite common) and that I had to manually receive a ticket from her. INSTEAD, I get a rude look and she yells, "YOU GOTTA PULL DA TICKET! THE GATE NOT GOIN OPEN IF YOU NO PULL ONE TICKET! PARKING NOT FREE!" She was treating me like I was an idiot! First of all, if you validate your ticket at Ross, parking is free for up to a certain amount of hours. Second of all, why motion for me to "move forward"? Yelling at me was unnecessary. I immediately tried to explain that I thought she was motioning for me to get the ticket from her. Her attitude towards me did not change after my explanation. Lastly, shouldn't she be paying attention to the other side of the parking booth? You know, where customers need to actually HAND YOU their validated ticket when exiting the parking garage?! Also, as I got out of my car to pull the ticket a few feet behind me (since I drove past it when I was motioned forward), the woman says something else to me that I didn't understand. I just responded with, "excuse me?" Apparently she told me that I have nice skin. Thanks?... Bipolar, much? I just drove off.

When exiting, I barely rolled down my window halfway to hand the same rude woman my ticket, rolled it back up, and immediately drove off as soon as the gate opened. Usually I say "thank you," but not this time!

    Plain rude encounter.
